  1. 1Spell words by joining letters that touch, sideways, up, down or diagonally.
  2. 2Drag across the letters and let go to submit, or tap them one by one and tap the last letter again. On a keyboard, just type the word and press enter.
  3. 3Words need at least four letters, and each letter can only be used once per word.
  4. 4Find every required word to complete the grid. Rarer words you spot count as bonus words.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the official Squaredle?

No. This is an independently built word grid game inspired by Squaredle, with its own daily puzzles. It isn't affiliated with the original Squaredle.

What counts as a word?

Any English word of four or more letters traced through touching letters, including diagonals. Each letter can only be used once per word. Everyday words are required to complete the grid; rarer words you find count as bonus words.

Does everyone get the same grid?

Yes. Everyone gets the same grid on the same day, and a new one goes live at midnight, UK time.

What's the difference between Daily and Express?

Squaredle Daily is a 4x4 grid with around 20 to 60 words to find. Squaredle Express is a smaller 3x3 grid with fewer words, made for a quick game.
